Winter Warriors: Name Our Road & Sidewalk Fleet Contest

The City of St. Thomas is inviting residents to participate in the Winter Warriors: Name Our Road & Sidewalk Fleet contest. We’re looking for creative and unique names for our snowplows and sidewalk machines, which are vital to keeping St. Thomas safe and accessible during the winter season.

Our winter maintenance team clears snow and ice from sidewalks, pathways, and 192 kilometers of roads, ensuring safe travel for all. We want to honour these hardworking vehicles with names that reflect the spirit of our community.

The winning name will be proudly displayed on one of our vehicles and featured on social media. This contest will be held annually, giving you the chance to name our fleet each winter season.

The deadline for submissions is March 14, 2025. Afterward, Mayor Preston will select the top 10 names, and the community will vote to choose the winner.

We look forward to your creative ideas and thank you for helping us celebrate our Winter Warriors!
