ST. THOMAS — The City of St. Thomas is seeking to enhance its communication efforts and has released an online survey to collect valuable feedback from members of the public.

The survey is aimed at identifying any existing gaps in our current communications practices, including but not limited to message clarity, transparency, and the effectiveness of various communication channels. There is also the opportunity for participants to submit suggestions for improvement, all of which will be used to inform our upcoming Corporate Communications Strategy.

Members of the Communications Strategy Working Group will attend various public events throughout the month of September with paper copies of the survey available for residents to complete, as well as digital copies on iPads and QR code handouts.

The survey will also be promoted via a targeted media campaign, spanning both print media and social media outreach.

Our goal is to engage with as many members of the public as possible from as many demographics as possible in order to craft a strategy that suits the needs and expectations of all of our community.

The feedback we receive will directly inform this strategy to ensure successful communication streams with all residents and external stakeholders,  whilst also positioning the City of St. Thomas as a leader in transparent and effective communication.

Deadline: Monday, September 23, 2024.
