City to Begin Recruitment Activities for New City Manager

ST. THOMAS, ON –
St. Thomas City Council will begin recruitment for a new City Manager as Michael Bradley has
announced his upcoming departure from the organization. Michael has accepted the position of
Chief Administrative Officer with his hometown, the City of Brantford, and will be vacating his
current position as of mid-November.
Mayor Joe Preston stated, “On behalf of City Council and City administration, I want to thank
Michael for his public service to our community over the last six months as we continue to grow,
innovate, and modernize as an organization. We wish Michael all the best with his new role and
know he will continue to provide great leadership at the City of Brantford.”
“I want to express my genuine appreciation to Mayor Preston, City Council, staff, and the wider
community for welcoming me to St. Thomas. I have fully enjoyed my time here in this amazing
City, and while this decision was not made lightly, I look forward to returning to my home
community in Brantford. I am positive that the City of St. Thomas has a bright future ahead
under the leadership of City Council and the dedicated staff teams,” said Mr. Bradley.
The City of St. Thomas will immediately initiate recruitment activities over the next short period
of time to fill this vital leadership role
