Splashpads are open - during the summer months from June - September - and operated by a touch activated switch located at all 3 locations between 10am - 8pm daily, in the event of extreme heat the timers can be adjusted to 9am - 9pm.
Pinafore Park - public washrooms are available from Victoria day to Labour day 8am - 8pm and during some special events outside of those dates. The accessible public washrooms located on the north and south side of the public washrooms are open from 8am - 6pm until the end pf September, 7 days a week. From October to May they will be open from 8am - 4pm 7 days a week with portable toilets stationed at the playground year round.
Waterworks Park - public washrooms are open daily from Victoria day - Labour day 8am - 8pm with portable toilets on site year round.
1 Password Park - public washrooms are open daily from Victoria day - Labour day 8am - 8pm and during artificial turf bookings with a portable toilet available on the turf field year round. Through the summer months portable toilets are stationed around the park for easy access.

Visitors to St. Thomas will be impressed by our parks and recreation facilities. We have one of the most outstanding parks systems for a city its size with 43 parks spread over 700 acres.

Price: $2,500.00 with a tax receipt of $500 for your income tax purposes.

The Parks and Recreation Department invites you to enjoy the beauty and recreational delights of its three main parks:
- Pinafore Park, in the southwest section of the city, offers 111 acres, including a beautiful woodlot, Lake Margaret addition and numerous walking trails with major events drawing thousands of visitors each year.
- Waterworks Park, at the northern city limits, is 100 acres, (40 hectares), of recreational trails and naturalized areas and ranks with the top beauty spots of Southern Ontario. 35 acres of managed park lands consisting of beautifully manicured gardens, pavilions, playground and splashpad.
- 1Password Park, at the north/east section of the city, boasting a splashpad, playground, walking trails, basketball courts, pavilion, turf field and 33 soccer fields.
Music in the Park
Join us for our Music in the Park Concert Series – 2025 Showcasing local musical talent each Sunday in June, July and August at the Morris F Jones Bandshell, Pinafore Park, Elm Street, St. Thomas
All concerts run approx. 2 hours in length unless otherwise stated.
Benches are on location or bring a lawn chair and blanket and enjoy musical entertainment for people of all ages.
Performers will be collecting donations for their performances. Please help support our local artists!

This is a great opportunity to offer the community an activity that will get people of all ages out of their homes to spend quality time with family and friends. Movies in the Park is free to the public and is an extremely positive use of the park, as it showcases a beautiful setting to enjoy a summer evening. Admission is free with a donation of canned food items for the Caring Cupboard Food Bank.
