Welcome to Children's Services


Consolidated Municipal Service Managers (CMSMs) play a central role in the planning, funding, administration and operation of early years and licensed child care services in Ontario. The Children’s Services team can:

- Provide information on licensed child care, before and after school programs and early years programs in your community;

- Provide information about financial assistance for fees related to licensed child care, authorized recreational and skill building programs and extended day programs;

- Provide information about children with specials needs in licensed child care settings, authorized recreational and skill building programs and extended day programs.

- Provide leadership in planning and contracting for the provision Child Care and EarlyON Services for St. Thomas and Elgin County.

Looking to place your child's name on the new Child Care waiting list for the centre located in Assumption Catholic Elementary school in Aylmer?

Please go to OneHSN website and place your name on the waiting list. This centre will have spaces for infants, toddlers and preschoolers, and will be called Milestones Children's Centre - Assumption.

Looking to place your child's name on the new Child Care waiting list for the centre located in St. Mary’s Catholic Elementary School in West Lorne?


 Please go to OneHSN website and place your name on the waiting list. This centre is a family grouping centre with a maximum of 15 children (a mix of infant, toddler and preschool), and will be called St. Mary's Child Care Centre.
