Tax Certificates
A tax certificate can be requested by completing a request form and emailing to [email protected]
The following information must be included in the request:
- Owner(s) name
- Legal description
- Municipal address
- Roll number
*Effective January 1, 2026, the fee for a tax certificate will increase to $65, with a rush fee of $80.
**Until December 31, 2025 at 11:59 p.m., the fee for a tax certificate is $45.00.
Requests can be mailed, emailed, or faxed to the City of St. Thomas. Payment can be made by cheque or over the phone with a credit card. See the Tax Certificate Request Form for more details.
