Elgin Home Childcare is seeking individuals who are passionate about offering quality child care in a safe and nurturing home environment.

Home Child Care Providers will:
  • Be able to build positive and trustworthy relationships with children and families
  • Follow Canada’s Food Guide to provide healthy meals and snacks daily
  • Read, understand, and follow the Ministry of Education and Elgin Home Child Care policies
  • Follow How Does Learning Happen? from Ontario’s Pedagogy for Early Years
  • Provide criminal reference checks and Children’s Aid Society background checks
  • Be willing to participate in professional learning opportunities
