Welcome to Children's Services


Consolidated Municipal Service Managers (CMSMs) play a central role in the planning, funding, administration and operation of early years and licensed child care services in Ontario. The Children’s Services team can:

- Provide information on licensed child care, before and after school programs and early years programs in your community;

- Provide information about financial assistance for fees related to licensed child care, authorized recreational and skill building programs and extended day programs;

- Provide information about children with specials needs in licensed child care settings, authorized recreational and skill building programs and extended day programs.

- Provide leadership in planning and contracting for the provision Child Care and EarlyON Services for St. Thomas and Elgin County.
