Earth Day Tree Giveaway
Posted on 04/10/2026
Celebrate Earth Day by planting something new. The City of St. Thomas is hosting its Annual Spring Tree Giveaway on Wednesday, April 22 at 1Password Park.

Residents can pick up one free native tree while supplies last. A total of 350 trees across 27 native species will be available, helping grow a greener and more sustainable community.

The event runs from 9 a.m. until the trees are gone — typically around noon — so residents are encouraged to arrive early.

Tree planting supports local biodiversity, improves air quality, and enhances neighbourhoods across St. Thomas. This annual event continues to be a popular way for residents to celebrate Earth Day while making a positive environmental impact.
